W.J. Frens RA/NMI

In 1997 Wilco Frens finished his postdoctoral part-time accountancy course at VU University Amsterdam. From 1993 to 1997 he worked at the Tax Department and the Fiscal Intelligence and Investigation Service (FIOD). In 1997 he moved into financial and taxation consultancy by making the transfer to Van Asselt. Since 1999 he has had a one third stake in the firm. At present he is mainly concerned with the office organization, tax consultancy, mergers and acquisitions and bankruptcies. Apart from that he is concerned as chartered accountant with account management in the medium-sized business segment. As a Netherlands Mediation Institute (NMI) mediator he is increasingly asked to act as a mediator/negotiator in disputes.

N.M. van Garderen AA MB FB

Eelco van Garderen has been working as an accountant since 1997. In autumn 1998 he transferred to Van Asselt. At the end of 2004 Eelco finished his Accountant consultant training and has been entered in the AA register since 2004. Since July 2004 he has been participating in the Van Asselt Accountants and Tax Advisors partnership, with particular responsibility for SME account management.
